Fundraising Follies
Every time I used to hear the
words "Fundraiser" at school, church, or parent groups, I would
always cringe. I would just picture hours of filling
orders on a Saturday, car
washes, or bake sales, which meant less quality time with our
children and the organization would make very little money for
the time committed. I knew there had to be a better way
and we actively went out and found it. The same company
that sells the greeting cards above, also has a fundraiser where
$10 of every $25 account sold goes to the organization. If
you have only 10 people in your school who sell 10 accounts,
that is $1000 for the organization, and no orders to organize or
